Dreamscapes

I call these pieces dreamscapes, but they could just as easily be seen as nightmares. While this section can present images of a dream-like quality, more often than not these works are designed to show the darkness, the shadows that people with bipolar carry with them. Frequently, they are painted while in the space that they represent. Art is a way of underlining the horrors of existence, as much as it is about presenting its beauty.
