This portfolio captures something of the range of work I produce. You will find
examples here of joy, despair and political realities. Colour and light, dark and shade.
When I paint joy, I try to capture that feeling, whether it be in a portrait or in a
moment. The aim is to give the viewer a way into that feeling, a connection with the
beauty that is all around us. When I paint despair, it is frequently produced from
within that space. When I paint political realities, my aim is to make injustices
tangible and the threat of discrimination and inequality immediate and palpable. You
will also see instances of living art here.
