Radical Rhymes:

Welcome to the virtual home of Radical Rhymes. Here you will find a world of light
and colour, but also some dark and shade. I am an expressionist painter exploring
three existential themes: Joy, despair and political realities. These themes emerge
from my own mental health struggles and my belief in political justice and social
equality. I was raised in relative poverty and left formal education with little to show
for my efforts. My early ambitions as an artist were discouraged by an unhelpful art
teacher, and I was rudderless for a long time. However, I went back into education as
an adult and gained a PhD on the way to a successful academic career.

A breakdown led me back to art and poetry. Hence my creative identity is now
Radical Rhymes. Now I work as a professional artist and writer taking commissions,
taking part in international exhibitions and publishing art and poetry books. I
sincerely hope you enjoy the time you spend here, the intention is to inspire, delight
